Pro-Russian Bots Are Helping The White Nationalist Cause

Following accusations Kaspersky Labs had ties to the Russian government, Best Buy has decided to pull the company's software from its shelves.
Kaspersky Lab confirmed Best Buy's decision, but the Moscow-based company also said their nearly decade-long relationship could be "re-evaluated in the future."
Kaspersky Lab has more than 400 million users. It's also well known for responding quickly to major cybersecurity incidents like WannaCry, Petya and the most recent Equifax breach.
But Kaspersky Lab is going through a tough summer. In July, Bloomberg reported the company developed software for Russian intelligence. Since then, multiple U.S. government agencies have voiced concerns.
The Trump administration removed Kaspersky Lab software from two approved vendor lists. Before that, the Senate Armed Services Committee recommended banning the software from American military contracts, and, according to Reuters, Russia wouldn't "rule out retaliation" if that happens.
