Beyonce, Jay Z Release Star-Studded Trailer Promoting Tour

The duo's new video is more like a short film, with all the guns, robberies and sex of a four-minute gangster movie.

Fresh off the whole Jay-Z, Beyonce, Solange fist-flying family feud, Hip-hop's "Bonnie & Clyde" have perhaps "re-channeled" the anger. They released a new explicit promo promoting their upcoming tour.

The Melina Matsoukas-directed video – which is more a short film – trails the exhaust pipe of the renegade power couple with lots of guns, robberies, sex and as much gangster as you can fit into four minutes. (Via Roc Nation & Parkwood Entertainment / JAY Z & Beyonce 'RUN')

And, as expected from the King of Roc-A-Fella Records and Queen Bey, it's go big or go home. They recruited some of Hollywood's biggest guns for cameos. (Via Columbia Records /Beyonce feat. Jay-Z 'Drunk In Love')

Including stars Sean Penn, Don Cheadle, Jake Gyllenhaal and Rashida Jones among others. (Via Flickr / seher sikandarBob Bekian, Nan Palmero, Colson Griffith)

New York Daily News described a couple roles: "While Penn acts as a mentor calming the wild antics of Jay Z, the outlaw, Cheadle and the hip-hop star conduct business together, but aren't friends." And, of course, there's plenty of profanity-laced dialogue, which we....really can't go into.

The video's a nice flashback for hardcore Jay-Z and Beyonce fans. Many point to their original 'Bonnie & Clyde' duet in 2002 as what kindled their romance – or, at least, shined the spotlight on it. (Via Roc-A-Fella Records / Jay-Z feat. Beyonce 'Bonnie & Clyde,' Glamour)

This also isn't Melina Matsoukas's first short film for Beyonce. She sat in the director's chair for the 7-minute-long "Pretty Hurts" off of Bey's fifth self-titled album. (Via Columbia Records / Beyonce 'Pretty Hurts')

And, even though 'RUN' comes off as a movie trailer of sorts, there's, unfortunately, no plan to bring it to the big screen.

For now, Beyonce and Jay-Z fans will have to settle for their first Summer tour together, which kicks off in Miami June 25th. (Via Billboard)
