Special counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly asking witnesses about Donald Trump's business dealings in Russia before he announced his presidential bid in 2015.
CNN reports it talked to three people who are familiar with the questioning. The outlet notes it might be an indication that Mueller is reaching beyond the campaign to see how Russia might have tried to influence the outcome of the 2016 election.
