Jake JonesPresident Donald Trump's voter fraud commission has to turn over documents to a Democratic member after a judge decided not to lift a previous order.
Trump created the group to investigate his own questionable claims that millions of people voted illegally in the 2016 election.
The commission is no longer active; the group only met in person twice. Trump disbanded the commission in January after some states refused to turn over voter information.
Commission member and Maine Secretary of State Matt Dunlap sued the commission, claiming he was denied access to documents and other information gathered by the group. A judge ruled he had the right to those documents in December and upheld that ruling on Wednesday.
The commission has until July 18 to give Dunlap the documents.
