Kermit the Frog might be coming back to television screens soon.
The Hollywood Reporter says Disney plans to add a TV reboot of "The Muppets" to the lineup for its upcoming streaming service.
The last time Disney attempted to reboot the beloved children's franchise, it didn't go so well.
Critics disliked the adult take on the characters, and ABC canceled "The Muppets" in 2016 after just one season.
Disney did not comment on the potential "Muppets" reboot. But CEO Bob Iger previously confirmed some other content the company has in the works for its streaming service, including a TV show based on the "High School Musical" franchise and a live-action "Star Wars" series.
