There were a lot of contentious moments during FBI agent Peter Strzok's testimony Thursday. But a comment from Rep. Louie Gohmert seemed to be a bit of a low blow.

"And I can't help but wonder, when I see you sitting there with a little smirk, how many times did you look so innocent into your wife's eyes and lie to her about Lisa Page?" Gohmert asked.

During the Clinton email investigation, Strzok frequently exchanged text messages with fellow FBI employee Lisa Page. The two were having an affair. Gohmert used that to try to question Strzok's credibility.

He said, "The credibility of a witness is always an issue, and you have not been demonstrating honesty."

Strzok's testimony continued well into Thursday evening. Page is expected to meet privately with the committee on Friday.
