Listen up, Lego lovers! Google has teamed up with the makers of our favorite colorful bricks to bring you a whole new way to play.

Enter "Build with Chrome," a new app that lets you build with virtual Legos right in your Internet browser. Google first tested the app in Australia in 2012, but now anyone can try it out. (Via Google Chrome)

Google explained in its official blog: "There's something pretty amazing about being able to piece together your ideas with just a collection of colorful bricks. ... We think the creative freedom of LEGO bricks shouldn't be limited to plastic bins."

The Next Web reports the app is brought to life by WebGL, 3D graphics technology that makes those computer-animated bricks look amazingly real without the need for additional plug-ins.

The app has some social features, too. Users can sign into their Google+ accounts and see what other people in their circles have constructed. (Via Build with Chrome)

And those with Android devices can even build on the go.

Users can play on a phone or tablet with Chrome for Android support for WebGL. But take note, your device needs high-end graphics capabilities for it to work. (Via YouTube / googlechromeaunz)

TechCrunch notes there aren't a whole lot of different block types to choose from, "but if you enjoy building with LEGOs, there's still more than enough here to keep you occupied."
