Ryan and Ammon Bundy, Nevada ranchers, brothers and co-defendants, left a Las Vegas federal courthouse Wednesday just moments after a U.S. District judge declared a mistrial in the case against them.

"This is a good day," said Ammon Bundy.

Federal prosecutors accused the Bundy brothers, their father, Cliven Bundy, and Ryan Payne of leading an armed standoff with federal land agents in 2014 over a cattle grazing dispute.

In her ruling, Chief U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro said federal prosecutors committed "constitutional due-process violations" and failed to properly turn over evidence to the defense.

Judge Navarro scheduled a new trial to begin in February.
