Turns out picking a jury for Martin Shkreli, who's been called the "most-hated man in America," is difficult.
On Monday, a number of potential jurors were dismissed after calling Shkreli things like "evil" and "a snake."
Many also thought Shkreli was responsible for the skyrocketing price of EpiPens, which isn't the case.
Shkreli is facing charges of securities fraud. He's been accused of running a Ponzi-like scheme, where he founded new companies and used their assets to pay off debts from other companies he owns.
But a lot of people are mad about something else: In 2015, the so-called pharma bro hiked the price of a drug that AIDS patients use by 5,000 percent.
That drug, Daraprim, went from $13.50 per pill to $750.
By the end of Monday, at least 130 people were dismissed from hearing his fraud case. Some prospective jurors had scheduling conflicts, but others were asked to leave due to their bias.
The judge presiding over the case will reportedly pick 12 jurors and have six alternates.
