North Korean leader Kim Jong-un reportedly told Russian President Vladimir Putin the U.S. acted in "bad faith" at the summit in Vietnam earlier this year.
According to the North's state-run Korean Central News Agency, Kim told Putin during their meeting Thursday the situation on the Korean peninsula has reached a "critical point."
The outlet says Kim warned the situation "may return to its original state as the U.S. took a unilateral attitude in bad faith" at the February meeting.
The two sides have seemingly been deadlocked since President Trump and Kim's Vietnam summit, which ended on a sour note when they couldn't come to an agreement on denuclearization.
Kim gave the U.S. until the end of the year to decide if it wants a third summit. President Trump responded the next day, saying a third summit would be "good in that we fully understand where we each stand."
