Baby North West turned one last week and during the weekend the family got together to celebrate in true Kardasian-West form. It was quite the event.

TMZ adds, "Guests were greeted with tie-dyed wrist bands ... and were treated to hair-braiding, face-painting, tie-dyed T-shirts and bandanas ... And there were Churro stands, snow cones and cotton candy machines. As for the party favors -- custom Yeezus T-Shirts. It definitely beats Chuck E. Cheese."
No joke. The event took place in Kourtney's huge backyard about a week after North's actual birthday, June 15, which fell on Father's Day this year.
"Kim posted this adorable photo Sunday ... This is what life is about! Our baby girl turned 1 today! We played so hard they passed out while we were watching the game! Happy Father's Day to the best daddy in the world!" (Via E!)

But of course, when does Kimye do anything without someone having something to say about it?
"We wanted to know if that was too much expensive jewelry for such a little baby."
"Are baby North's earring excessive? Yes."
"North West, she's air to a throne."

And as far as the birthday bash, Khole got some backlash on Instagram for wearing a Native American headdress. (Via The Huffington Post)

Still, a witness reportedly told Us Weekly, everyone seemed to have blast, "Kim was holding North a lot of the time, and the party seemed to be geared towards a little bit older kids ... But it was a family party with all ages, and no matter what age they were, they were having a great time. There was so much to do."
