Maryland Van Crash Kills 4, Injures At Least 11 Others

According to local reports, the crash occurred in Hyattsville just north of Washington D.C. At least 11 other people were injured, though authorities warn that number could change as the investigation continues.

Newsy's partner station, WMAR, reported Sunday evening six adults and five children were transported to a local hospital.

One of the fire departments called to the scene tweeted that three victims were care-flighted to a hospital. A spokesman for a different fire department on scene tweeted that injuries range from life-threatening to non-life threatening.

Investigators are trying to determine what caused the crash.
