Millions of Americans are battling dangerously low temperatures as a cold outbreak continues to freeze much of the U.S.
According to The Weather Channel, dozens of daily record low temperatures have been set across the Midwest, South and East.
Over the weekend, dozens of cities in North Dakota and Minnesota saw wind chills between 45 and 55 degrees below zero.
And New York City had its second-coldest New Year's Eve ball drop on record.
At least four people have died as a result of these frigid conditions. Meteorologists say the U.S. could see more of the same bitter cold throughout the first week of 2018.
