We all know our presidential debates can be a waste of time. If you're looking for a debate that doesn't turn into a screaming match or isn't full of rehearsed sound bites, that's been hard to find for years. But presidential debates can be substantive if the format is changed to the Oxford style.
It requires candidates to think on their feet, develop their ideas, defend their positions and attack their opponent's positions while keeping everything about substance.
