More than 30 White House aides have lost their top-secret security clearance.

Bloomberg reports officials were told they'd be downgraded to a lower level "secret" interim security clearance. That means they'll lose access to top-secret intelligence and other government secrets.

White House chief of staff John Kelly is behind the changes.

President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner was also affected. News of his downgrade circulated earlier this week.
