A landslide in the Philippines caused by Super Typhoon Mangkhut has killed at least 43 people. Dozens of people are missing and feared buried, and hundreds of homes have been destroyed.
A U.N. official told CNN as many as 50 people could have been buried by the landslide.
Rescue workers were in the process of searching for survivors Monday morning.
Philippine officials feared the death toll from the storm could surpass 100 following the landslide.
The typhoon pummeled the Philippines on Saturday before heading across southern China. Chinese state news reports four people have died there.
