T-Mobile is making waves in the mobile carrier space yet again.

This time the company has announced its prepaid wireless brand, GoSmart Mobile, has partnered with Facebook to bring unlimited Facebook access to its customers.

The company offers three monthly plans with no annual contract:
- $30/month for unlimited talk and text
- $35/month for unlimited talk, text, and web access
- and $45/month for unlimited talk, text, and 5GB of high-speed web access.

Now, even if you’re on the $30 a month plan, you’ll still get free, unlimited access to Facebook. But before you start planning to post every link ever on your Facebook page ...

… AllThingsD stresses the free access is only for Facebook. "The free service … will extend to anything hosted on Facebook itself — such as an embedded video — but if a link takes a user off Facebook's site, they will need to have a data plan."

And so, it seems, Facebook is giving users every reason to keep coming back to the social network — a writer for eWeek says the company is struggling to keep users engaged.

"Facebook these days is facing challenges to keep users Liking and Friending and checking their News Feed, instead of [turning] away to Twitter, SnapChat, Instagram and other social-networking apps with growing, young audiences."

T-Mobile says GoSmart has "hundreds of thousands" of customers. Those hundreds of thousands will have unlimited access to Facebook starting in January.
