A Tennessee woman has been charged with the murders of four children.
Authorities said the children had "severe throat lacerations" and that 29-year-old Shanynthia Gardner had "cuts to her neck and wrists."
Deputies found a bloody butcher knife in her home, and her husband said she admitted to killing the children, who were all under the age of 5.
A fifth child, a 7-year-old boy, was able to escape to the scene.
Gardner's charges include four counts of first-degree murder, child abuse and neglect.
