Hoda Kotb Makes An Emotional Baby Announcement On The 'Today' Show

The co-host is the proud new mother of a baby girl.

ICYMI: Hoda Kotb of NBC's "Today" show is a proud new mother. Kotb adopted a baby girl, Haley Joy, who was born on Valentine's Day.  

Kotb phoned in to the "Today" show Tuesday to share the happy news with her co-hosts and the rest of the world.   

"We are thrilled for you. You were made to be a mom," said co-host Kathie Lee Gifford. 

Leading up to the baby reveal, Kotb posted a series of inspirational quotes to her Twitter account.
