President Donald Trump threatened to cut U.S. aid to the Palestinians if they don't join Israel for peace talks.

"That money is on the table, and that money is not going to them unless they sit down and negotiate peace," Trump said.

Trump said that Thursday during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the World Economic Forum.

And he added that Palestinians leaders "disrespected" the U.S. by refusing to meet with Vice President Mike Pence during his trip to the Middle East.

Trump's warning comes just a few weeks after his administration said it would freeze funding for a United Nations agency that serves Palestinian refugees.

It's unclear exactly how much aid Trump would be willing to withhold from the Palestinians.
