The government's goal was 20 million vaccinations by year's end but the CDC says just over one million doses have been distributed.

Vaccinations in the U.S. are lagging. 

The government said its goal was to vaccinate 20 million people by the end of the year.

According to the CDC just over 1 million doses have been given and less than 10 million doses have been distributed.
