New coronavirus cases in India aren't showing any signs of slowing down.

The country's latest seven-day average of new cases set another record high at nearly 400,000 cases.

The World Health Organization is also warning about the COVID-19 variant first found in India last year.

The W.H.O. said the variant is now a global concern. Initial studies show the variant spreads easier.
