Public school teachers in West Virginia have been on strike since Feb. 22.

West Virginia's teacher strike will continue Monday after the state's Senate failed to give public school teachers the raise they'd been hoping for.

Gov. Jim Justice and the state's House of Delegates had agreed to give the teachers a 5 percent raise, but the Senate cut that to a 4 percent raise for all public employees.

Public schools in the state have been shut down down since Feb. 22.
