The White House communications director is resigning.

Alyssa Farah worked in the Trump administration for more than three years, previously serving as the press secretary for Vice President Pence and the press secretary for the Department of Defense.

She tweeted, "It's been the honor of a lifetime to serve in the Trump administration."
