The White House insists President Trump is not concerned about the guilty verdict for Paul Manafort or the guilty plea from Michael Cohen.
Sarah Sanders said as much several times in Wednesday's press briefing:"He did nothing wrong. There are no charges against him." "I don't think the president is concerned at all. He knows that he did nothing wrong and that there was no collusion.""The president did nothing wrong. There are no charges against him. There is no collusion.""Just because Michael Cohen made a plea deal doesn't mean that that implicates the president on anything."
But others have a different takeaway from Cohen's plea on Tuesday.
In court, the president's former personal attorney said he organized payments to two women at Trump's direction and "for the principal purpose of influencing the election."
