A jury has found Noor Salman, the widow of the Pulse nightclub shooter, not guilty of all charges.

She was charged with obstruction of justice and with aiding and abetting the support of a foreign terrorist organization. If convicted, she could have faced life in prison.

Salman was arrested months after her husband killed 49 people at the Orlando, Florida, nightclub in 2016.

Prosecutors said Salman signed a statement saying she knew what her husband was doing when he left for Orlando. They also said she went with him to case the nightclub and helped him with a cover story.

Her attorneys argued the statement was a result of hours of interrogation and that she signed it so she could go home. They also said she was in a violent relationship and was forced to help him.
