Ryan Biek

Former Newsy Digital Content Producer

Fleeing Minnesota winters, Ryan attended the University of Missouri to study psychology and economics — that is when he wasn't too busy playing lacrosse. He didn't consider pursuing journalism until he picked it up at a summer job. Since then, he's covered a wide range of topics, including politics, neurodegeneration, food and wine and the occasional cat video. When Ryan isn't writing for Newsy, he's trying to stay out of trouble by shooting pool and playing sand volleyball with his buddies and creating food blogs.
