The Mega Millions numbers have been chosen ... and more than likely, you didn't win one of the largest lottery jackpots ever.

Tuesday night's jackpot ended up at $1.5 billion, which is just shy of a world record. The one ticket that won it all was sold in South Carolina.

The winner will have 180 days to come forward and claim their prize. They'll be able to take either a lump sum of about $878 million or the have the full jackpot amount paid out over 30 years.

The store that sold the winning ticket is expected to be announced Wednesday, but we may never find out who won the grand prize, since South Carolina lets its winners stay anonymous.
