2 Dead, 2 Injured In Reno Medical Center Shooting

The shooter killed one person and injured two others inside a medical center before turning the gun on himself.

One person was killed and two more injured after a shooter opened fire inside a Reno, Nev. medical center Tuesday before turning the gun on himself. 

The shooting took place around 2:05 p.m. at the Renown Regional Medical Center. Witnesses told authorities the shooter began firing in the neurology center on the third floor. (Via Fox News)

Authorities arrived and began escorting people out of the medical center while checking for the shooter by going from floor to floor. (Via CNN

The Los Angeles Times reports the medical center campus was on lockdown until about 4:15, when hospital workers were seen leaving the medical facility. (Via Los Angeles Times)

Police later found the suspected shooter with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. At least one victim was rushed into surgery, but their condition is unknown. The identities of the shooter and the victims have not yet been released. (Via Reno Gazette-Journal)

Information is still scarce, but local authorities say they've begun looking into a possible motive. According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, police say they'll have the names of some of the victims by Wednesday morning.
