Three infants have been found dead at a home in Massachusetts after a child endangerment investigation led to the bodies.

WBZ-TV"Even more unnerving, officers think there may be more bodies."

"Four other kids, ages 13, 10, three and six months old all found alive, but living in filthy conditions."

"Nobody in the neighborhood knew that they had more than two children."

WHDH"Investigators haven't said if the babies were full term, or how they died. But it has neighbors horrified."

"It hasn't registered 100 percent in my head yet. I'm disgusted."

And the conditions inside the home were deplorable. Authorities say there were dirty diapers piled up to two-feet high, rats and bugs inside. It was so bad, investigators had to wear head-to-toe protective gear.

WHDH even called it a "house of horror."

Authorities were called to the house by a concerned neighbor. She said a dirty child came up to her asking for help.

It's the condition of the house that's making news as much as the deaths of the three infants.

NECN"The house is now condemned. ... At this point, they're not releasing any information about who or where these parents are."

A 31-year-old woman is in custody, but investigators will not reveal if she has any relation to the children. No one has been charged yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
