The jump actually happened back in September, but the video was just made public Monday.
According to the New York Daily News, the four men reportedly involved turned themselves in Monday after investigators said they conducted a long-term investigation, reviewing security footage shot nearby. (Via New York Daily News)
The New York Times reports police were first tipped off shortly after the jump happened. A security guard at a nearby building called police after he says he saw the three jumpers land on the ground. The fourth man who was apparently a spotter was nearby.
One of the stuntmen told CBS how they got into the construction area.
"It was pretty simple, actually. Scarily enough. We found a little hole in a fence between a wall and a fence, and we just pushed it open and walked right in."
"We had no intention of being disrespectful to anybody. We weren't trying to hurt anybody." ABC adds another jumper, James Brady, was a construction worker at the World Trade Center site.
This latest incident has caused more security concerns for the 1,776-foot tower.
Just last week, WCBS points out a 16-year-old boy allegedly sneaked through several levels of security in the building to get to the spire and take pictures. He was arrested shortly after.
WABC reports the men were released on $3,500 bail Monday night after they were charged with third-degree burglary, reckless endangerment and jumping from a structure.
