Another blizzard is barreling toward the northeast, even as people from Texas up to Maine are still recovering from a previous storm. This next storm could possibly bring more flight cancelations, power outages and traffic headaches.
"Two to four inches around New York City, around the Boston area, especially east of the city, we could see six to ten inches of snow. And then northern Maine... we're going to see a foot of snow for you." (Via CNN)
This one is not expected to be as harsh as the past week's storm, but in many parts of the country, it will just add to transportation problems. According to News 12 Long Island, the last blizzard grounded a record-number of flights.
But it wasn't just planes that couldn't operate during the storm. Cars, trucks, even semis were snarled by the slick conditions.
NBC reports up to 100 vehicles were involved in an eight-mile-long chain-reaction crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike Friday.
"The massive line of cars, trucks and tractor trailers stretched as far as the eye could see ... Cars just smashing into everything, everybody I should say ... Aww man, it was like a horror movie ... More than 20 people were treated for injuries."
The New York Times says both New York and Connecticut's governors declared a state of emergency Thursday.

Fox News reports 1.2 million utility customers lost power as last week's storm made its way from the South up to the Northeast, leaving nearly 450,000 homes in South Carolina and Georgia still in the dark through Friday.
Reports from across the country put the death toll from snow and ice in the past week between 20 and 25. The National Weather Service has already put up blizzard alerts throughout New England for Saturday's storm.
