Another tourist has died near the Grand Canyon.

According to the National Park Service, a 67-year-old man fell to his death from the South Rim on Wednesday. Park rangers recovered the man's body about 400 feet below the rim.

This is the third death that's occurred in the area in recent days.

Last week, a man slipped and fell to his death while taking pictures at an overlook at Grand Canyon West. In a separate incident, another man was found dead in a forested area south of the South Rim Village area of the park.

Officials have launched investigations into all three deaths. National park staff are cautioning visitors to stay on designated trails and walkways and behind railings and fences at overlooks.
