Hi, I'm Johannah Grenaway  and here's a look at the stories Newsy is watching now.

The U.S. has indicted Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro on narco-terrorism charges. The Justice Department alleges Maduro and his allies funneled "tons of cocaine" into the U.S. and "systematically looted Venezuela of billions of dollars." Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced Thursday that the State Department will award up to $15 million for information leading to the arrest or conviction of Maduro, and up to $10 million for each of Maduro's associates.

Meanwhile Italy's soccer federation has offered up some of its facilities for virus patients, as Italy struggles through the second-worst coronavirus outbreak in the world. The federation's auditorium and hotel outside Florence would normally be busy, but all sports were suspended earlier this month. The federation's president said that in order to be able to play sports again, "we need to win together the most important match against coronavirus.”

And in the U.S., the WNBA has decided to do a virtual draft event this year in order to protect the health of everyone connected to the league. The women's pro basketball association is going to keep its original draft date — April 17 — but players, fans and media will have to watch from home. Details are still being worked out but the picks will be announced on ESPN.
