Two 15-year-old girls were killed in a shooting on an Arizona high school campus Friday.

Glendale police confirmed the deaths at Independence High School during a press conference Friday afternoon. Officer Tracey Breeden said authorities found the two students with a single gunshot wound each. They were declared dead at the scene, and a gun was found near the bodies.

"It's a tragic incident, two young people are dead this morning. And we send our condolences out to the family, to loved ones and the friends of those two young girls," Officer Tracey Breeden said.

Detectives are still processing the scene, but police told Newsy's partners at KNXV they are not searching for other suspects. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
