A gunman who opened fire inside a New York City hospital killed at least one person and left several others injured before apparently killing himself, according to officials.
The shooting took place in the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center. Police described the gunman as tall, thin and wearing a white lab coat. Officials told CNN the shooter is believed to be a former hospital employee.
A Fire Department official told The New York Times three of the victims are believed to be doctors. The condition of the injured victims is not yet known.
