California authorities are searching for 16-year-old Mira Hu, who went missing over the weekend after being dropped off at school to take an SAT test.

Hu's parents told police they couldn't find their daughter when they went to pick her up at Arcadia High School in San Marino. Hu was dropped off at the school at 7:30 A.M.

A police spokesman told the Los Angeles Times Hu sent a text message to her brother before she disappeared, saying she felt "overwhelmed" by school and was planning to run away. (Video via KTTV)

Arcadia's police suspect Hu is heading towards Central or Northern California and are asking for the public's help in finding her. Authorities do not suspect foul play in her disappearance.
