Police, rangers and rescue teams are frantically searching for a family that disappeared without a trace in a remote area of northwest Nevada.
"Officials continue to comb the area for two adults and four children who disappeared Sunday after going sledding in a remote part of Nevada." (Via WPMT)
According to authorities, James Glanton and his girlfriend Christina MacIntee took their two children, a niece and a nephew to the area to go "play in the snow." (Via The Daily Buzz)
According to the Pershing county sheriff, the silver Jeep police say the family was driving was last seen "doing wheelies or donuts" at a mining camp. (Via WCMH)
The six family members were reported missing late Sunday night, and police are racing against the clock to find them before the freezing temperatures get to them first.
"The temperatures out here are very cold, and we'd like to bring a successful end to this. We'd like to find them just as soon as we can." (Via KTVN)
Officials told NBC they will continue to search the area with a Navy helicopter and search and rescue teams until the missing family is found.
Police are asking anyone with information about the family's whereabouts to call them immediately.
