A couple in Bakersfield, California, will be celebrating their 70th anniversary this year, and their gift from their granddaughter is about as impressive as the length of their marriage.

"I just can't believe this," Mary Arambula told KGET.

"When it manifested itself, I couldn't believe it," added Mary's husband, Richard.

What you just saw were hundreds of pictures, autographs and handwritten notes from celebrities across the globe, all saying congratulations.

Some extra special ones to note include a letter signed by President Obama and the first lady, a handwritten note from George Clooney, an apostolic blessing from the Vatican and a scarf and broach from the late Joan Rivers.

"We do have what we think might be the best response from Tommy Chong. He wrote, 'Congratulations on being married 70 years and not killing each other,'" said a "Good Morning America" host.

Although Chong was probably joking, he might've been on to something.

"There were times I wanted to get the gun. Get out of my house," Mary jokes.

Mary and Richard Arambula married at ages 16 and 17. They now have four children and dozens of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren.

Richard told The Bakersfield Californian"It's been quite a ride. We had some tough moments since we started so young. But it all worked out."

The couple's anniversary is in December. Mary and Richard's granddaughter Belinda started planning for this gift in 2014.
