Two people are hurt after a shooting outside an elementary school in Overland Park, Kansas.
According to Newsy's partners at KSHB, the victims were working on the playground at Sunrise Point Elementary Tuesday morning when they were shot. Police say there weren't any children at the school at the time.
Witnesses told police an argument between the suspect and two co-workers led to the shooting.
Authorities say the two patients were taken to a nearby hospital and are in critical condition.
Police say the incident spanned three crime scenes — the shooting at the playground, a failed carjacking at a car wash and a successful carjacking nearby. As of Tuesday morning, the suspect was still at large.
