Backpage.com Creators Indicted On Prostitution-Related Charges

The founders of Backpage.com, a classified ads website often accused of promoting sex trafficking, have been indicted. 

The Justice Department said Monday an Arizona grand jury indicted seven people on charges including facilitating prostitution and money laundering.

The indictment says, "Many of the ads published on Backpage depicted children who were victims of sex trafficking."

Prosecutors say they've identified at least 17 victims of trafficking on the site, one was allegedly killed by a customer.
