Five of the people accused of planning to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer are back in court today.

A judge will decide whether there is enough evidence to charge them with crimes.

The judge will also consider whether two of the men — including the leader of the kidnapping plot — should remain in jail before their trials.

Federal authorities say the scheme to kidnap the governor involved months of planning and surveilling her vacation home.
