A man in Denver accused of impersonating a licensed medical doctor and running his own plastic surgery clinic has been arrested.

Carlos Hernandez Fernandez is facing more than a dozen charges, including assault and child abuse.

The Denver District Attorney's Office says he will be charged with four counts of second-degree assault, two counts of unlawful sexual contact, four counts of criminal impersonation, four counts of unauthorized practice of physician and one count of child abuse.

Newsy's partners at KMGH report one woman had been trying to contact Hernandez Fernandez for weeks after he performed a nose job.

"She's now like questioning was his stuff even washed, you know? Does she maybe have an infection because he didn't properly take care of whatever it was," said a translator for one of the reported victims.

The same woman also had a procedure on her forehead. KMGH says the woman is now worried that surgery is causing her recent headaches.

Hernandez Fernandez reportedly injured at least four people using a "scalpel or sharp cutting instrument." The 36-year-old is also accused of sexually assaulting at least two patients.

Patients say Hernandez Fernandez botched face-lifts and other procedures, like tummy tucks and wrinkle removal.

The Hernandez Fernandez Care website says it's "fully licensed and insured," but the site doesn't actually list a license number. According to the district attorney's office, Hernandez Fernandez had been posing as a doctor since January 2015.

Investigators suspect there are even more victims than those who have already come forward.

Anyone who may be a victim should call the Denver District Attorney's Office at 720-913-9000.
