Santa Fe High School in Texas reopened Tuesday to students. It's the high schoolers' first day back after eight students and two teachers were fatally shot on May 18.

Community members made a show of support outside the school, holding signs that said "Santa Fe strong" and "Stay strong, Santa Fe."

The school district said in a statement multiple law enforcement agencies from across the state would provide extra security. The statement also said there would be counseling resources available to students and staff "for as long as needed."

Santa Fe High School staff went back last Wednesday. According to the school district's website, the last day of school is Thursday and graduation is scheduled for Friday.
