The FBI wants to identify a man suspected of trying to contaminate food at a Michigan Whole Foods.

Officials say this man sprinkled a mysterious liquid on food carts in Cranbrook Whole Foods in Ann Arbor.

Newsy's partners at WXYZ report an employee saw the suspicious behavior and notified store management.

Whole Foods released a statement saying, "Out of an abundance of caution, all salad and hot food bars were immediately closed down at the store, all food was thrown out and the store team thoroughly cleaned and sanitized all food stations, equipment and serving utensils before restocking with fresh items."

The FBI's preliminary test of the liquid came back negative for harmful substances, but investigators still want to talk to this man.
