You might remember 54-year-old Jim Wolf from this viral video.

He's the homeless veteran seen here getting a makeover from Michigan-based charity Dégagé Ministries. The video went viral, getting more than 15 million views and raising more than $30,000 for the charity. (Via YouTube / RobBlissCreative )

But Monday, Wolf was back in a jail. He pleaded guilty to trespassing and creating a disturbance at a Grand Rapids Burger King.

He told WOOD-TV in an interview from jail he's started drinking again.

WOLF: "I have no excuse for what I've done. That is all me, putting a bottle to my mouth."

Though he said the new look helped, Wolf's recovery was never going to be as easy as a makeover. (Via YouTube / RobBlissCreative)

Grand Rapids police have arrested Wolf more than 80 times. He's reportedly had problems with substance abuse and mental illness in the past.

The director of shelter services at Mel Trotter Ministries tells the Grand Rapids Press: "Addiction and homelessness is a complex condition. It's not solved as simply as the video might indicate."

The creator of the CNN time-lapse video told CNN he wasn't entirely surprised by the news. But he adds, "If [Wolf] gets arrested fewer times this year than last, that's progress."

Wolf will serve 10 days in jail on each charge. He told WOOD-TV he believes he can get clean.

HuffPost Live reports, "According to sources close to Wolf, he will soon be checking in to a 90-day rehabilitation facility."
