President Donald Trump issued a new memo regarding transgender individuals serving in the military.
Released on Friday, Trump's new memo cancels out a similar one he wrote in August. The new memo is in line with Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis' judgment.
It says, "Transgender persons with a history or diagnosis of gender dysphoria -- individuals who the policies state may require substantial medical treatment, including medications and surgery -- are disqualified from military service except under certain limited circumstances."
A federal court blocked Trump's original ban on transgender service members in October.
