CBS has received subpoenas from New York state and city officials over claims former CEO Les Moonves sexually assaulted and harassed women.

According to an SEC filing the company put out on Friday, CBS received subpoenas from the New York County District Attorney and the New York City Commission on Human Rights.

That's the same district attorney, Cyrus Vance Jr., who charged Harvey Weinstein with rape in May. Authorities in Los Angeles, where some of the incidents with Moonves allegedly took place, considered bringing charges earlier this summer but declined due to the statute of limitations.

CBS's filing says the company has hired two law firms to investigate the claims against Moonves, who resigned as CEO earlier in September.

The New Yorker originally reported the allegations, which came from several women and spanned more than two decades.

On Tuesday, the company announced CBS board member Richard Parsons will take over as CEO on an interim basis.
