We want to introduce you to a Target employee Bay Area police are calling a hero.
This is Roxanna Ramirez, and authorities say she helped them find a man they believe kidnapped a 7-year-old girl from her home in Antioch, California. (Via KGO)

“At one point, I saw him grab his steering wheel and start to shake it, so that was just really off to me. That's when i knew like something was wrong with him.” (Via KSAZ)
Ramirez thought there was something fishy about a man in the store, so she wrote down his license plate number and filed it after he left the store. (Via WAGA)
See — Ramirez is a loss prevention specialist and initially thought the man was going to shoplift or something.
Turns out — that man — 43-year-old David Douglas — admitted to kidnapping 7-year-old girl Natalie Calvo at gunpoint. (Via Antioch Police)
But then police put out that Amber Alert we just showed you — and Ramirez called police with Douglas’ license plate number after thinking the description of the suspect sounded like the shopper she had been watching.
But Douglas told KNTV in a chilling jailhouse interview that it was a cry for help.
“When I picked her up she told me she was scared, and I said, 'I'm scared, too.' … I said I don’t know why I’m supposed to take you, I just know that I am for some reason or the other.”
Douglas says he told the girl he was an angel waiting further instructions from God. He may face a mental evaluation and is currently being held on $4 million bail on kidnapping charges.
The kidnapped girl is safe back at home with family now.
As for the Target worker who helped find her, Ramirez says she’s just grateful she was there.
“I’m more happy that she gets to live the childhood that she deserves, and I hope she puts this tragic thing behind her.” (Via KPIX)
