Comedian Tracy Morgan has been transferred from a hospital to a rehabilitation facility and is expected to remain there for the next couple of weeks.

In a statement obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, Morgan's rep confirmed the star had left Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey and is now at an undisclosed rehab center. The statement says, "While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go."

Morgan's fiance, Megan Wollover, wrote on Facebook Thursday, "All your prayers helped- moving forward- stable & fair condition, but the journey continues... #faith."

And CNN reports investigators say Kevin Roper, the driver of the Wal-Mart truck that slammed into Morgan's vehicle, had been awake more than 24 hours when the accident occurred and was going 65 in a 45 mph zone.

Roper has pleaded not guilty to charges of vehicular homicide and assault by auto.
